Command Bar

Command bars can be easily designed in the WYSIWYG designer, which will show how they look during run time. The command bar implements a Framework for creating and hosting Toolbars and Status bars similar to those that are found in the Visual Studio, .NET, and Office XP user interfaces.

Command Bar States

The command bar control of the command bar controller can be floated or docked to the form as per the requirements of the user.

Command Bar Appearance

Styling options are available for the command bars created using the command bar controller.

Multi Row Docking

Dock the command bars in multiple rows along any of the form’s borders. Move docked command bars within as well as between rows using the repositioning gripper.

Floating Command Bar

Drag command bars off their docked positions and float them as individual frames. Double-click or drag to return floating bars to docked positions.

Resize Mode

Users may choose between the sizable and wrap modes.

Integration with our pop-up container and pop-up menu classes allows users to set XP drop-down controls and menus.

State Persistence

Full state persistence capability with the option to return to a default designer set state is supported. Persistence of intermediate command bar states is also possible.
