Pivot Chart

The pivot chart control is a lightweight control that reads OLAP and relational data, and visualizes it in graphical format with the ability to drill up and down.

Data Binding

There is extensive support to bind both OLAP and relational data sources.

Browser Compatibility

Our pivot chart control is supported in all of the major browsers in use today, including:

  • IE 8+
  • Firefox 2.0+
  • Chrome 1+
  • Opera 9+
  • Safari 3.0+

Drill Option

Pivot chart control has built-in support for drilling in or out to visualize the multidimensional and relational data. Allowing this to be driven by the context menu makes it intuitive to the user.

Chart Types

Pivot chart supports common chart types, including column, stacking column, bar, stacking bar, area, step area, spline area, stacking area, pie, pyramid, line, step line, spline, doughnut, scatter, and bubble.

Named Set

A named set is a multidimensional expression (MDX) that returns a set of dimension members, which can be defined and saved as a part of the cube definition. Named sets are created by combining cube data, arithmetic operators, numbers, and functions. Named sets simplify MDX queries and provide useful aliases for complex, typically used, set expressions.

Legend

A color code helps to differentiate between chart items. The legend has labels beside each color to present some detail about the series.

Tooltip

Pivot chart provides options to display chart series information such as measures, row and column member names, and the values of a current segment while hovering over each individual series.

Localization

Localization is the process of customizing the user interface (UI) based upon the local culture setting. Using this feature, data can be displayed in a specific language.

Themes

Pivot chart supports different types of predefined themes, allowing users to switch among them to view the controls in different formats. Supported themes are flat-azure, flat-azure-dark, flat-lime, flat-lime-dark, flat-saffron, flat-saffron-dark, gradient-azure, gradient-azure-dark, gradient-lime, gradient-lime-dark, gradient-saffron and gradient-saffron-dark.

Responsive Layout

Responsive layout is aimed at crafting sites to provide an optimal viewing experience and easy reading. It also provides navigation with a minimum of resizing, panning, and scrolling across a wide range of devices from tablet to desktop. By using this feature, you can achieve an effective view of the pivot chart in all devices, including desktops, tablets, mobiles, etc.

You are using an outdated version of Internet Explorer that may not display all features of this and other websites. Upgrade to Internet Explorer 8 or newer for a better experience.
