Cloning Data Integration Platfrom
Introduction
This document explains the steps required to install new Data Integration Platform in another machine and import all dataflows from already running Data Integration Platform server.
Step 1: Backup dataflows
Based on your requirement, backup the following file(s) from installed location C:\Syncfusion\DataIntegration\<version>\SDK\NIFI\conf.
To clone existing dataflows: flow.xml.gz
To clone dataflows, tenants, and user policies:
- flow.xml.gz
- authorizations.xml
- authorizers.xml
- users.xml
Note:
authorizations.xml, authorizer.xml, and users.xml files are available only when you install Data Integration Platform with the User Management Server(https).
Step 2: Download and installation
Download and install the latest version Data Integration Platform from https://www.syncfusion.com/products/data-integration
Step 3: If installed with User Management Server (https)
- After successful installation, skip the SSL certificate warning as the SSL with self-signed certificate has been enabled.
- In User Management Server startup configuration page, select database and create admin account in the same name used in existing Data Integration Platform.
- In User Management Server, create all users available in existing Data Integration Platform and update password for the newly created users.
Note:
To install Data Integration Platform with the existing User Management Server, install Data Integration Platform without User Management Server during installation process on the destination machine. Then, enable the security in Data Integration Platform. For more reference, refer to this documentation link: https://help.syncfusion.com/data-integration/getting-started#enable-security-for-data-integration-platform-with-user-management-server-from-normal-mode
