How to do initial filter in the date picker?

Follow the given steps to achieve the initial selection in the date picker:

  1. Drag and drop the date picker into designer canvas and bind the data.

  1. Set the selection type in properties pane to perform initial selection.

To select a single value, choose the selection type as single.

To select a set of range, choose the selection type as range.

  1.  Switch to the Properties pane and set the Selection Type as Single.

  1. Click the highlighted icon in the date picker. The following pop-up will open. Now, you can select any date as desired.

  1. Preview the dashboard as follows.

  1. Switch to the Properties pane and set the Selection Type as Range.

  1. Click the icon in the date picker. The following pop-up will open. Now, you can select the range as initial selection by selecting start and end dates.

  1. Preview the dashboard as follows.
