How to Resolve System.InvalidCastException: Unable to convert instance of type 'Syncfusion.SfImageEditor.Android.ImageContainer' in Xamarin.Forms.Android

This article explains how to resolve System.InvalidCastException in image editor.

If you are facing issue,” System.InvalidCastException: Unable to convert instance of type 'Syncfusion.SfImageEditor.Android.ImageContainer'”.  Please find the below steps to overcome that issue.

1. If you are referring NuGet Package means then you have to include Syncfusion.Xamarin.SfImageEditor only . You don’t need to include Syncfusion.Xamarin.SfImageEditor.Android.  This will generate all required assemblies in your project. You can add the NuGet reference as like in below screenshot.

2. If you are adding assemblies manually then add assemblies as like in below screen shot.
