How do I measure the size of the text?

We can calculate the size of the text by using the method MeasureString in PdfFont class

C#

PdfFont font = new PdfStandardFont(PdfFontFamily.Helvetica, 6, PdfFontStyle.Bold);

// Measuring String

SizeF size = font.MeasureString(footerText);

VB

Dim font As PdfFont = New PdfStandardFont(PdfFontFamily.Helvetica, 6, PdfFontStyle.Bold)

' Measuring String

Dim size As SizeF = font.MeasureString(footerText)

Please refer to the sample demonstrating this feature in the link below:

Useful, except that the C# syntax doesn't work. Compile-time error: cannot implicitly convert float to System.Drawing.SizeF.
