Ignoring the parent web config settings

Your (Parent) application, which is running as a root site in IIS and hosted on the Syncfusion Dashboard Service as a sub application or virtual directory. The Web.Config settings are inherited automatically from the root application, and it may raise a problem to run the Dashboard Service at IIS.

To overcome this, use the location tag with path value as ‘.’ and inheritInChildApplications as ‘false’ in the Web.Config file of root/parent application.

Refer to the following code snippet:

<location path="." inheritInChildApplications="false"><system.web> ...</system.web></location>
