Resolve exception issue in

If you have installed Essential Studio WPF platform setup in v16.1.0.24 and facing the below crashing issue in Framework 4.5 while using the assembly file “Syncfusion.Tools.WPF”, “Syncfusion.Shared.WPF” or “Syncfusion.Chart.WPF” then we suggest installing the below patch file to resolve the issue.

Crash information:

Could not find any resources appropriate for the specified culture or the neutral culture.  Make sure "Syncfusion.Windows.Tools.Controls.Resources.Syncfusion.Tools.Wpf.en-US.resources" was correctly embedded or linked into assembly "Syncfusion.Tools.Wpf" at compile time, or that all the satellite assemblies required are loadable and fully signed.

Patch installation guidelines

Follow the steps to install the patch setup to replace the assemblies to corresponding Syncfusion version installed location.

1. Run the downloaded patch setup.

2. Select the Run Assembly Manager option if you want to place the patch assemblies to GAC.

3. Select Install to replace assemblies and configuration


This patch file needs to update on top of the 2018 Volume 1(v16.1.0.24) installed to resolve the exception.

Advanced approach – can directly replace existing assemblies for your build environment

Installation Directions: 
This patch assemblies should replace the files “Syncfusion.Tools.WPF”, “Syncfusion.Shared.WPF” and “Syncfusion.Chart.WPF” under the following folder.

$system drive:\Program Files\Syncfusion\Essential Studio \ \percompassemblies\4.5

You will have to manually copy and paste them to the preferred location, and you should run the Syncfusion Assembly Manager application (available from the Syncfusion Control Panel, installed as a shortcut in the Application menu) to re-install assemblies.
