How to set default zoom/pan position for charts?

SfChart provides the following two properties to zoom the chart: ZoomFactor and ZoomPosition

The ZoomFactor property defines the zooming level and the ZoomPosition property defines the zooming (scrolling) position for chart. Both values should fall between 0 and 1. For instance, when ZoomFactor is 0.5 and ZoomPosition is also set to 0.5 for the chart with 10 data points, it shows last 5 data points in chart. Here, ZoomFactor decides no of points (5), and ZoomPosition decides range of values to display (from 6 to 10).

Is there a way to limit the interactive zooming to a certain number of items? e.g. I want to display 10 items minimum. If the user tries to zoom in further they shouldn't be able to. If there are less 10 items, let's say there's only 6, I want the 6 items to be aligned to the right and the 4 items to be blank.

Hi Bryan,

You can achieve your requirement by setting MaximumZoomLevel property in ChartZoomPanBehavior as per the below code snippet.
