How to handle "Maximum number of extended formats exceeded" exception?

This article explains how to handle maximum number of extended formats exceeded exception.

Why maximum number of extended formats exceeded exception is thrown?

MS Excel 97-2003 version supports only 4095 formats and so does XlsIO. When the formats created exceeds 4095, then “Maximum number of extended formats exceeded” exception is thrown.

By default, there are 21 extended formats in workbook creation. To work with more than 4095 formats, we need to set the workbook version greater than Excel 97-2003. This will resolve ”Maximum number of extended formats” exception.

To know more about cell formatting in XlsIO, please refer the documentation.
