How to restrict only to draw a specific task dependency type in JavaScript Gantt?

1 min read

In JavaScript Gantt, by using “actionComplete” client-side event with requestType argument as “validatePredecessor” and by disabling the “predecessorValidation” argument we can able to restrict drawing the dependency line to a specific type.

The below code snippet explains restricting the dependency line draw action for creating only the FS (Finish-to-Start) dependency type.

$(function () {
$("#GanttContainer").ejGantt({
dataSource: defaultGanttData,
//...
actionComplete: function (args) {
if (args.requestType == "validatePredecessor" && args.predecessorValidation)
args.predecessor.indexOf("FS") != -1 ? (args.predecessorValidation = true) : (args.predecessorValidation = false);
},
});
});

Please refer the sample link for more information about this.
