Prerequisites for hosting the Syncfusion Dashboard Service in IIS
The Syncfusion Dashboard Service is based on Windows Communication Framework(WCF), and it can be hosted in any windows machine(s) with .NET 4.5 and above framework installed. For system requirement . For the production environment, the Dashboard Service can be hosted in IIS that requires the prerequisite called WCF should be configured.
For Windows Machine(s),
Follow the below steps to set up the environment for running the Syncfusion Dashboard Service.
Step1: Click windows features option in the control panel.
Step2: Select the below highlighted features in windows features to enable WCF features in IIS application and then click ok.
For Windows Server editions,
Step 1: Go to server manager -> local server and select add roles and features under manage menu option.
Step2: Click the next to choose the installation type, after launching the add roles and features wizard.
Step 3: In the installation type selection page, choose the role-based or feature-based installation and then click the next.
Step 4: In the server selection page, select the server that you want to host in the Syncfusion Dashboard Service and click on next.
Step 5: In the server roles page, choose web server if it’s not installed yet and then click on next.
Step 6: Now, the window will navigate to the features pane. Select the highlighted features.
Step 7: Click install after the confirmation of the selected features.
This page will automatically be redirected to the sign-in page in 10 seconds.
