What are the features needed to be enabled in IIS to run Report Server Application

Syncfusion Report Server can be hosted in IIS express and IIS. To run the Report Server in IIS, need to enable IIS along with the IIS features and roles.

Note: A pre-installed Report Server and IIS configured Azure VM in available here

For Windows Server OS:

Follow the below steps to enable IIS and the features that are needed to run the Report Server in Windows Server OS.

In Explorer navigate to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features
In the left panel Select Turn Windows features on or off.

Add Roles and Features Wizards windows opens. Click on Next button.

Select Role-base or feature-based installation on Installation Type tab and click on Next button.

Click on Select a server from the server pool then select the Server in the Server Pool section and click on Next button.

In Server Roles Tab Select Web Server (IIS) in the Roles section. Click on Next button.

Enable all the Features and Role Services in the below mentioned in the Features and Role Service tab then click on Next button

In Confirmation tab review all the Features and Service Roles enabled in Feature and Role Services tab then click on Install button.

Feature Installation will get started, Installation status can be seen in the Results tab.

For Windows Client OS:

Follow the below steps to enable IIS and the features that are needed to run the Report Server in Windows Client OS.

In Explorer navigate to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features
In the left panel Select Turn Windows features on or off

Windows Features window will open.

Now enable all the features and roles mentioned in the below table and click on OK button.
