What are the features needed to be enabled in IIS to run Dashboard Server Application in Windows Server OS?

Syncfusion Dashboard Server can be hosted in an IIS express and IIS. To run the Dashboard Server in IIS, enable the IIS along with IIS features and roles.

Note: A pre-installed Dashboard Server and IIS configured Azure VM is available here.

Follow the given steps to enable the IIS and features that are needed to run the Dashboard Server in Windows Server OS.

  1. In Explorer, go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features.
  2. In the left panel, select Turn Windows features on or off.

  1. The Add Roles and Features Wizard window opens. Click the Next button.


  1. Select Role-base or feature-based installation on Installation Type tab and click the Next button.

  1. Choose Select a server from the server pool and select the server in the Server Pool section, and then click Next.


  1. In Server Roles Tab, select the Web Server (IIS) in the Roles section and click Next.

  1. Enable all the features and role services in the below mentioned Features and Role Service tab and then click Next.

  1. In Confirmation tab, review all features and service roles enabled in the Feature and Role Services tab, and then click Install.


  1. Now, the feature installation is being started. You can see the installation status in the Results tab.
