If the necessary fonts used in the Word document has been not installed in the production machine, then DocIO uses “Microsoft Sans Serif” as default font for rendering the text. Due to this font alteration, you could see the difference for the rendered text in the generated PDF/Image files during Word to PDF/Image conversion.
All the used fonts must be installed in your machine to preserve text contents as equivalent to Word document in generated PDF/Image while performing Word to PDF/Image conversion.
You can check whether all the necessary fonts installed or not by following ways:
1. Using Microsoft Word applicationYou can see the missed font by opening input Word document using Microsoft Word application and click FileàOptionsàAdvancedà Font substitution button, it shows the missed font list. If your machine has all necessary fonts means, then it will show below window: 2. Using DocIO font substitution Utility:Please run the Utility and select the Word document to retrieve the uninstalled font details. If your machine doesn’t have all the necessary fonts, then Utility will display list of missed fonts as like below:
