How to resolve Syncfusion Control Panel crashing issue in v14.4.0.15 UWP platform
If you have installed Essential Studio UWP platform in v14.4.0.15 and facing the Syncfusion Control Panel crashing issue, then follow the steps suggested below to resolve this issue.
1. Download and extract the Assembly.zip
2. Copy the 4.0 folder to the following install location.
Location:
{Programfilesfolder}\Syncfusion\Essential Studio\{version}\Utilities\InstallInfoGenerator
Example:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Syncfusion\Essential Studio\14.4.0.15\Utilities\InstallInfoGenerator
3. Open the command prompt in admin mode and navigate to the above InstallInfoGenerator location.
4. Run the InstallInfoGenerator.exe with the following arguments.
Arguments:
false reinstall
Example:
InstallInfoGenerator.exe false reinstall
5. Now restart the Syncfusion Control Panel and try running the Offline samples. Samples will be launched successfully.
We have fixed this issue and this has been already included from our 2016 Volume 4 Service Pack (14.4.0.20) release.
