How to get the current page number in PdfDocumentView control

Platform: WPF |
Control: PdfViewer |
Published Date: January 25, 2016 |
Last Revised Date: January 30, 2020

You can get the current page number while scrolling by using the CurrentPageChanged event in PdfDocumentView.

In the below code snippet, the pagenumberTxtbox is updated by the current page in view.

C#

private void Window_Loaded(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e)
{
    pdfviewer1.CurrentPageChanged += pdfviewer1_CurrentPageChanged;
    pdfviewer1.Load("../../Data/GIS Succinctly.pdf");
}

void pdfviewer1_CurrentPageChanged(object sender, EventArgs args)
{
    pagenumberTxtbox.Text = (sender as PdfDocumentView).CurrentPageIndex.ToString();
}
