Steps to turn on/off the Enterprise Mode in Internet Explorer 11 and excluding particular site using centralized site list or locally through IE Tools menu

Description

The network administrator sometimes turns on the IE11 Enterprise Mode for all their network users in order to make their legacy internet/intranet application workable in Internet Explorer 11 through the centralized site list. In such situations, the Syncfusion Dashboard Viewer does not render properly. So, the user has to exclude the Dashboard Viewer hosted site from applying the IE11 Enterprise Mode. This article provides detailed steps to turn on/off the Enterprise Mode in Internet Explorer 11, and exclude/include a particular site by using centralized site list or locally through Internet Explorer Tools -> Enterprise Mode menu.

Steps

A. Turning on the Enterprise Mode by using the Local Group Policy Editor Window:

  1. Open Run (Windows + R) and execute the gpedit.msc command to open the Local Group Policy Editor Window. Go to the Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Internet Explorer.
  2. Select and double click, Let users turn on and use Enterprise Mode from the Tools menu item to turn on the Enterprise Mode (Refer to Figure 1).
