How to import an Excel chart into Presentation in .NET WebForms?

2 mins read

We can import an excel chart into PowerPoint presentation by using Essential Presentation and Essential XlsIO libraries. The following procedure illustrate this.

Steps:

  1. Open an existing excel document having the chart with Essential XlsIO library. You can find more details on opening a excel file in the link.
  2. Create a presentation and add an empty chart to a slide by using Essential Presentation library. You can find more details on creating PowerPoint presentation file in the link.
  3. Get the values from the excel chart properties and assign that values to the related properties of presentation chart.
  4. Save the presentation. Now the chart in excel document will be exported to the empty chart we created in the PowerPoint presentation.
