What is the reason for getting the error message ''EssentialGridObject'' is undefined in the browser?

This is usually because the grid control did not find it's Script files in the folder specified in the ScriptFilesPath property. So, while deploying make sure that the webserver has the Script files installed in the specified path. This could also happen during development when you are working with a remote IIS where Essential Suite was not installed.Check the User's Guide for more information regarding deploying images and scripts.
