How to manually configure the Syncfusion Offline Class Reference?

 

Refer to the following steps to configure the Offline Class Reference help content.

  1. Navigate to the following location and ensure that all the cabinet files are shipped properly. Refer to the screenshot.

    Location: {Drive:}\{Program Files folder}\Syncfusion\Essential Studio\Documentation\{Version}\Help451\Class Reference

    Example: C:\Program Files (x86)\Syncfusion\Essential Studio\Documentation\13.1.0.21\Help451\Class Reference

  2. If the cabinet files are not shipped, Offline Class Reference is not installed properly, you have to reinstall it.

  3. If the cabinet files are shipped properly, then follow the steps:

 

For Visual Studio 2012 and later:

 

Launch the Help Viewer (2.1) by navigating to VS2012->Help menu and click 'Add and remove Help content' option in Visual Studio to configure the help content manually.


a. In Manage Content tab, select the 'Installation Source' as disk, click browse and select the HelpContentSetup.msha' file from the Syncfusion help content installed location  as mentioned

             Location: {Drive:}\{Program files folder}\Syncfusion\Essential Studio\Documentation\{Essential Studio version}\

             Example: C:\Program Files (x86)\Syncfusion\Essential Studio\Documentation\13.1.0.21\Help451\ClassReference

b. Select 'Add' link and click 'Update' to install the Syncfusion class reference contents into the help viewer.

For Visual Studio 2010:

 

Launch the Help Viewer by navigating to VS2010->Help menu and click “Manage Help Settings” option in Visual Studio to configure the help content manually.

 

  1. Once the Help Viewer is opened, click the Install content from disk option, click browse and select the HelpContentSetup.msha' file from the Syncfusion help content installed location as mentioned below and click next.

    Location: {Drive:}\{Program files folder}\Syncfusion\Essential Studio\Documentation\{Essential Studio version}\

    Example: C:\Program Files (x86)\Syncfusion\Essential Studio\Documentation\13.1.0.21\Help451\ClassReference

  1. Select 'Add' link and click the 'Update' to install the Syncfusion class reference contents into the help viewer.

  1. Now, Offline Class Reference help content is configured in Visual Studio.
