1 min read

You can change the direction of the RibbonWindow by using the FlowDirection property. You can also change all the items in the WPF Ribbon control according to its direction using the FlowDirection property.

The following code example illustrates how to change the flow direction.

XAML

<syncfusion:RibbonWindow x:Class="Ribbonwindowflowdirection.MainWindow"
             xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation"
             xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml"
             xmlns:syncfusion="http://schemas.syncfusion.com/wpf"
             Title="MainWindow" Height="350" Width="525" syncfusion:SkinStorage.VisualStyle="Metro"
             Name="ribbonWindow"
             FlowDirection="RightToLeft">
       <Grid>
             <syncfusion:Ribbon>
                 <syncfusion:Ribbon.ApplicationMenu >
                     <syncfusion:ApplicationMenu IsPopupOpen="False" >
                     </syncfusion:ApplicationMenu>
                 </syncfusion:Ribbon.ApplicationMenu>
                 <syncfusion:Ribbon.QuickAccessToolBar>
                     <syncfusion:QuickAccessToolBar syncfusion:WindowChrome.IsHitTestVisibleInChrome="True"/>
                 </syncfusion:Ribbon.QuickAccessToolBar>
                 <syncfusion:RibbonTab Caption="Home" >
                     <syncfusion:RibbonBar Header="New">
                         <syncfusion:SplitButton SizeForm="Large" Label="New Items"></syncfusion:SplitButton>
                         <syncfusion:RibbonButton SizeForm="Small" Label="New Email"></syncfusion:RibbonButton>
                         <syncfusion:RibbonButton SizeForm="Small" Label="Delete"></syncfusion:RibbonButton>
                     </syncfusion:RibbonBar>
                  </syncfusion:RibbonTab>
              </syncfusion:Ribbon>
       </Grid>
</syncfusion:RibbonWindow>

C#

ribbonWindow.FlowDirection = FlowDirection.RightToLeft;
