Problem
The compilation error "The type or name 'JavaScript' does not exist in the namespace 'Syncfusion' -are you missing an assembly reference?" in *.aspx.designer.cs file.
Reason
This error occurs when the Syncfusion assemblies are not referred in the web application.
Solution
To resolve the issue, refer to the corresponding assemblies for adding Syncfusion ASP.NET controls in the web applications as given in the following link,
