How to hide member in dimension in WPF OlapChart?

2 mins read

You can hide the members by setting a role in OLAP Cube. You can pass the connection string with additional parameter, Roles, that permits you only to view the allowed members and hides the rest.

C#

OlapDataManager DataManager = new OlapDataManager(@"Data Source=http://bi.syncfusion.com/olap/msmdpump.dll;Roles=Role1; Initial Catalog=Adventure Works DW 2008 SE;");
DataManager.SetCurrentReport(CreateOlapReport());
this.OlapClient1.OlapDataManager = DataManager;

VB

Dim DataManager = New OlapDataManager("Data Source=http://bi.syncfusion.com/olap/msmdpump.dll;Roles=Role1; Initial Catalog=Adventure Works DW 2008 SE;")
DataManager.SetCurrentReport(CreateOlapReport())
Me.OlapClient1.OlapDataManager = DataManager
