This Knowledge Base is applicable only for V12.3.0.36.

The Project Template does not work in Visual Studio 2013 due to some assembly conflicts that occur while creating the project.

You can perform the following steps to resolve this issue:

  1. Open Visual Studio 2013 and choose Tools -> Extension and Updates. To open Extensions and Updates dialog in Visual Studio 2013.
  2. Uninstall the Syncfusion.MVC.Extension, Syncfusion.MVC.VSPackage.Web, and Syncfusion.MVC.VSPackage.Web.Classic extensions. Refer to the following screenshot for more information. Uninstall Syncfusion Extensions in Visual Studio 2013
  3. Download the VSIX for Visual Studio 2013.
  4. Extract the downloaded zip file and install the extensions in the following order.
  1. Syncfusion.MVC.Extension
  2. Syncfusion.MVC.VSPackage.Web.Classic
  3. Syncfusion.MVC.VSPackage.Web
  1. Once you install all the VSIX packages, you can restart the Visual Studio 2013 and create a Syncfusion MVC Project.
