How trigger clientSideEditValidation event in MVC(Classic) Treeview?
Problem
In TreeView control, edit the node by double click or pressing F2 key. Rename the value of the node and then focus the node using ESC key or Enter Key, the ClientSideInlineEditValidation Event is triggered. But instead of focussing from edited node, directly when you can click another node, the ClientSideInlineEditValidation Event is not triggered.
Reason
With JQuery scripts, the blur event from Input didn’t fire when focussed on another draggable/ droppable DOM element. You have logged this as an issue and the reference ticket is available in the following link:
http://bugs.jqueryui.com/ticket/4261
Solution
JQuery has fixed this issue in JQuery UI 1.11.0 version. So you can refer to the JQuery UI 11.1.0 scripts locally in your project and add the key sfJqueryload as false in webconfig file to overcome the jQueryUI conflict issue with two different jQueryUI script versions. You can refer to the following code example.
[webconfig] <appSettings> <add key='sfJqueryload' value='false'/> </appSettings>
