64-bit Support for older Syncfusion Essential Studio versions (version v7.4.0.19 and earlier)

Syncfusion has now started providing 64-bit support for Essential Studio v7.4.0.20 and higher.

All older versions, v7.4.0.19 and earlier, do not have this support; however, you can continue the Essential Studio setup installation by clicking OK button in the Warning dialog box that pops up.

If you are using an Essential Studio setup v7.4.0.19 or earlier on 64-bit machines, kindly ensure to make the following changes in the registry of the 64-bit machines:

  1. Download the Sync64bitSupport.exe file from the following link:   

https://s3.amazonaws.com/files2.syncfusion.com/dtsupport/directtrac/111253/Sync64bitSupport43237227.zip

2. Open the command prompt in administrative privileges.

3. Execute the Sync64bitSupport.exe file with the following arguments.

    [WorkingFolder]> Sync64bitSupport.exe "{VERSION}"

    Ex: D:\>Sync64bitSupport.exe "6.1.0.34"?

Command to execute the Syncfusion 64 bit support exe for particular version

 

Now you can work with Syncfusion controls on 64-bit machines.
