Making Syncfusion Web-related sample browsers work with IIS if installing IIS after installing Essential Studio

Please follow the below steps to run samples from IIS if IIS is configured after installing Syncfusion Essential Studio.

Run aspnet_regiis.exe using the administrator command prompt. Run aspnet_regiis.exe for the highest available framework on your machine.  If you have the 4.0 framework, run the .exe from the following folder:

C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.21006

If you have only the 3.5 framework, run the .exe from the following folder:

C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727

Commands to run a batch file in command prompt

 

Open the Dashboard. Click the tick/wrong mark, which is to the left side of the platform in the tile window of the Dashboard. A pop-up window will show the recommended software for each platform. Click the Recheck option in that window. You need to be an administrator to perform this action. A message box will ask you to restart the dashboard. Please refer to the below screen shots.

Select the tick or wrong option for each platform

Open the administrator command prompt and run the WebConfigSwitcher.exe, which is in the following location:       [SyncfusionInstalledPath]\Utilities\WebConfigSwitcher\WebConfigSwitcher.exe

 

Please wait for 2 to 3 minutes until it configures the samples in IIS. Please refer the below screen shot.

 

Configuring the IIS in machine

Now open the dashboard, and click “Run Locally Installed Samples”; the samples will run from IIS.
