How to change the TextColor of the subitems of the selected node to highlight it?

Platform: WinForms |
Control: TreeViewAdv |

This behavior can be acheived using TreeViewAdv''s MouseDown event.

C#

private void treeViewAdv1_MouseDown(object sender, MouseEventArgs e)

{

if (e.Button == MouseButtons.Left)

if (this.treeViewAdv1.PointToNode(new System.Drawing.Point(e.X, e.Y)) == null) return;

TreeNodeAdv node = this.treeViewAdv1.PointToNode(new System.Drawing.Point(e.X, e.Y));

if (node.HasChildren)

{

foreach (TreeNodeAdv n in node.Nodes)

{

n.TextColor= Color.Blue;

}

}

}

VB

Private Sub treeViewAdv1_MouseDown(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As MouseEventArgs) Handles treeViewAdv1.MouseDown

If e.Button = MouseButtons.Left Then

If Me.treeViewAdv1.PointToNode(New System.Drawing.Point(e.X, e.Y)) Is Nothing Then

Return

End If

End If

Dim node As TreeNodeAdv = Me.treeViewAdv1.PointToNode(New System.Drawing.Point(e.X, e.Y))

If node.HasChildren Then

For Each n As TreeNodeAdv In node.Nodes

n.TextColor= Color.Blue

Next n

End If

End Sub
