How to display tooltips for a control in ComboDropDown?

Platform: WinForms |
Control: ComboDropDown |
Published Date: April 30, 2011 |
Last Revised Date: July 10, 2014

To display tooltips for a control in ComboDropDown, focus has to be given to the popupcontrolcontainer's Popup event.

C#

private void popupControlContainer1_Popup(object sender,

System.EventArgs e)

{

this.popupControlContainer1.Focus();

}

VB

Private Sub popupControlContainer1_Popup(ByVal sender As Object,

ByVal e As System.EventArgs)

Me.popupControlContainer1.Focus()

End Sub
