What is the use of SelectOnCollapse Property?

Platform: WinForms |
Control: TreeViewAdv |
Published Date: April 30, 2011 |
Last Revised Date: July 10, 2014

By setting the SelectOnCollapse property to false the user can avoid the selection of the Collapsed Node if one of its child node is selected.Usually when a parentNode is collapsed with one of its childNode selected, the parentNode will get selected along with dotted rectangle. After setting the SelectOnCollapse to false, the user can see that the collapsed node will have only dotted rectangle but not selected.

This property helps the user to have the same behavior as the SolutionExplorer.
