Docking method

GetEnableDocking is the method used to know the current docking status of the control. You can use the following code to know the current docking status of the control.

C#

this.dockingManager1.GetEnableDocking(this.panel1);

VB

Me.dockingManager1.GetEnableDocking(Me.panel1)

This is incorrect. If you need to know if the panel is docked or not use this

if (dockingManager1.GetState(panel1) == Syncfusion.Windows.Forms.Tools.DockState.Dock)

This returns
    Syncfusion.Windows.Forms.Tools.DockState.Dock //if the panel is docked

and

    Syncfusion.Windows.Forms.Tools.DockState.Float //if the panel is not docked

//**GetState **- returns the dockability of the panel, this does not change if the panel is docked or floating
