How to resolve Syncfusion license popup message or trial message warning?

1 min read

The solutions provided will be helpful in resolving the licensing issue after upgrading the Syncfusion License key:

  1. Ensure that respective version of Syncfusion.Licensing NuGet package or assembly is referred properly in the application.
  2. Ensure that all Syncfusion assemblies or NuGet packages referenced are of the same version, and that the corresponding version and product’s license key are registered in the application. Refer to the license key generation and registration link, for more details.
  3. The license key should be registered before initializing any Syncfusion controls in the application. Refer to this page, for more information on registering license keys.
  4. The same version Syncfusion assemblies or NuGet packages should be present as the license key’s version in the application output folders or published folders.
  5. If you have upgraded the Syncfusion assemblies or NuGet packages version and license keys in the application, try cleaning and closing your project, removing the bin and obj folders, and rebuilding the application to see if that resolves the license error message.
  6. Clear the NuGet cache in your machine. Refer to this KB article to clear the NuGet cache.

Note

  1. Syncfusion license keys are version and platform-specific. To avoid trial watermarks in your applications, you should generate and register the corresponding version and platform license key.

Refer to this documentation, for more information about Syncfusion licensing.

  2. To know which version license key should be used in the application, refer the following KB article.
