How to display row headers on multiple pages in WebForms report?

The static initial rows that contain column headings or the initial columns that contain row headings can be repeated in table or matrix data region when it spans to multiple pages. Headings are repeated on each page only if there is sufficient space in the page. The following steps are required to repeat the row or column on multiple pages:

  1. On the design area, select the tablix data region. The Grouping pane displays the row and column groups.

  1. On the right side of the Grouping pane, click the down arrow, and then select Advanced Mode. The Row Groups pane displays the static members for the row groups and the Column Groups pane shows a similar display for the column groups.

  1. Select the static member corresponds to row or column that you want to repeat on each page while navigating. The Properties pane displays the Tablix Member properties.

  1. In the Tablix Properties pane, set RepeatOnNewPage to True.

  1. Set the KeepWithGroup property in the following way,
  • For a static row that is above a group, click After.
  • For a static row that is below a group, click Before.

  1. Preview the report and navigate to different pages of the report, the static tablix header cells are repeated on each page.
