Documentation states 'SfSchedule does not support Editing and Deleting of Recurring appointment’s occurrences.'

As per title, what does it mean when the documentation states 'SfSchedule does not support Editing and Deleting of Recurring appointment’s occurrences.'.

What's stopping us from just manually creating these exception appointments and adding it to the RecurrenceExceptionDates?

Basically we just want some clarification with what this caveat means and what the limitation would result in.

Thanks

Hi Winston,

Thank you for contacting Syncfusion support.

We have analyzed the required query regards “Schedule does not support editing and deleting of Recurrence appointment’s occurrences” and we regret that our UG document not updated regarding this. Currently schedule has support of “Recurrence Exception dates” you can create exception appointments and add this to exception dates. We will update the UG by removing the mentioned line, in our upcoming release. Kindly find more details about “Recurrence Exception” feature by following our UG documentation below.

We hope that this helps. Please let us know, if you have any query on this.

Regards,
Subburaj Pandian V
