Hi,

I have a SfChart with the ItemsSource binded to an ICollectionView. Everything is working fine but... When source updates the selected segments are unselected.
Since the source is updated almost every second, it's impossible to select anything... Do you have any idea of how to freeze the control updates?

Thanks!

Hi Javier,

Thanks for using Syncfusion products.

We have analyzed your query and we would like to inform you that this is our default behavior of SfChart. You can highlight the same index segment after the source update by resetting the index and setting SelectedIndex as per the below code snippet.

Code snippet
        private void Timer_Tick(object sender, EventArgs e)
        {
            int index = series.SelectedIndex;
            //Reset
            series.SelectedIndex = -1;

            viewModel.GenerateData();

            //Set same selected index again
            series.SelectedIndex = index;
        }

We have prepared a sample based on that, please find the sample from the following location.

Hope it helps.

Regards,
Muneesh Kumar G
