I can't get dropdown values from Dialog Template edit

I've a grid, and I'd made a template for edit values.

When I save, in the controller I can get the values for inputs, but not for the dropdown list.

How can I get the values for the dropdownlists in the template edit?

Hi Manolo,

Thanks for contacting Syncfusion support.

We have analyzed your query and prepared a sample by ensuring your reported issue in two different ways.
1.       We have checked by rendering the Dialog template form with one field as dropdown and we can get the dropdown value for the particular field in controller while saving the record.
2.       Also we have checked by binding the separate DataSource for the particular dropdown column alone, in this case also we can get the dropdown value to the controller when saving the records in grid. Please be ensure if you bind external datasource for the dropdown column then the datasource must be in text and value pair.

We have also prepared a sample that can be downloaded from the below link.

Also please refer the below screenshot.
Selected the value as Brazil in dropdown list and passed it to controller when clicking the save button.
Get the dropdown field (ShipCountry) value to the controller.
If you still face the issue please get back to us with the following details.
1.       Share the screenshot/video of the issue that you have faced.
2.       Are you using any adaptor for grid? If so please share the adaptor details.
3.       Share the Essential studio version details.
4.       Share the full grid code that you have rendered.
5.       Share the controller page that you have used.
The provided information will help us to analyze the issue and provide you the response as early as possible.
Please let us know if you need further assistance.
