Hi, I'm using Syncfusion CircularGauges, and have this error.

We're using the version and update to 12.4.0 24. Now are presenting this error "Unknown server tag ej:CircularScales".

Already in the web.config update the assembly version and are using the new dll in the project. Why this error can occur?

Hi Nestor,

Thanks for using Syncfusion products.

We suspect that the reported error comes due to the namespace “Syncfusion.JavaScript.DataVisualization.Models” missing in the web.config page with specific version details. So, could you please check the mentioned namespace is added in the web.config page of your sample as shown below?

<add namespace="Syncfusion.JavaScript.DataVisualization.Models" assembly="Syncfusion.EJ, Version=12.4450.0.24, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=3d67ed1f87d44c89" tagPrefix="ej"/>

Or else please check whether your pagedirectory mentioned with correct namespace and specified version details(Default.aspx).

<%@ Page Title="Home Page" Language="C#" MasterPageFile="~/Site.Master" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeBehind="Default.aspx.cs" Inherits="DynamicRanges._Default" %>

<%@ Register Assembly="Syncfusion.EJ.Web, Version=12.4450.0.24, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=3d67ed1f87d44c89" Namespace="Syncfusion.JavaScript.Web" TagPrefix="ej" %>

We have prepared a sample to run the circular gauge in version, which can be downloaded from the following link:

Also, ensure once that the Syncfusion assemblies are referred with correct version number. If the issue still persists at your end, kindly provide more details with sample, so that we will check and update you the possible solution at the earliest.

Please let us know if you need further assistance on this.

Hi Nestor,

Thanks for your update.

We regret to let you know that we are unable to reproduce the reported issue in our end. We tried to reproduce the error with 12.4400.0.24 assembly version and the circular gauge is rendering properly. Please find the prepared samples with the framework 4.0 and 4.5 that can be downloaded from the following link.

12.4400.0.24 : http://www.syncfusion.com/downloads/support/forum/119124/CircularGaugeframe4-799781937.zip
12.4450.0.24 : http://www.syncfusion.com/downloads/support/forum/119124/CircularGauge2046070900.zip

Also, kindly ensure that the highlighted settings are mentioned correctly in the web.config file and pagedirectory.

Please try the above sample and still if you face the same error. Please share some screenshots of your error or sample, so that we will check and update you the possible solution at the earliest.

Please let us know if it helps and any further assistance on this.
