Hi, We're using the autocomplete element,

So when in the web page make a postback, the selected value in the autocomplete disappear.

We also have another question, how to obtain the selected value in the autocomplete for pass in code behind a variable?

Hi Nestor,

Thank you for using Syncfusion products.

We are unable to reproduce the reported issue with AutoComplete control on maintaining the value after post back. The issue may arise when “ej.webform.min.js” script is not referred in your project. Please ensure whether all the references for adding ASP.NET controls added in your application. In order to get the value of AutoComplete from code behind, you can use “Value” attribute that holds the value of the control. We have also attached a sample to demonstrate the requested scenario. Please refer the following code snippet,

protected void btn_Click(object Sender, Syncfusion.JavaScript.Web.ButtonEventArgs e)

            this.ACtext.Text = this.AutoComplete.Value;

Note: “AutoComplete” is the ID of the Control used in the sample

For further reference, check the following UG link on adding references to the application:

Please let us know if you have further queries.
