Excel Export (Grid) with conditional formatting causes alert during import to MS Excel

Note: applies to both Mac and Windows Microsoft Excel applications. Does not cause import warnings in Mac Numbers or Google Sheets.


Steps

  1. Export data from a DataGrid, applying conditional formatting during the export
  2. Open the exported .xlsx file in MS Excel (mac or windows)
Expected:
Opens without any warnings

Actual:
Displays an alert and requires data to be "recovered" before the file can be opened.
Recovery process completes successfully without any data loss (afaik).
