EssentialUIKit from GitHub does not build

I just downloaded the latest essential-ui-kit-for-xamarin.forms from GitHub and tried to build and run the solution. The iOS project encountered this error:

File not found: ... /essential-ui-kit-for-xamarin.forms-master/EssentialUIKit.iOS/Assets.xcassets/._AppIcon.appiconset 


Environment:
MacOS
Visual Studio for Mac 8.3 Preview (83. build 1583)

Notes: 
- I unloaded the UWP project as they are not supported in Visual Studio for Mac
- The project referenced .NET Standard 2.0. I tried bumping it up to 2.1. No change.
- I updated the nuget packages. No changed.
