Discrepancy on StepView.Status: the UI differ from the value! Only when you stepback after 2nd step

If you go, programmatically (by code), from step 1 to 2 and go back from 2 to 1 all goes well.

But if you reach step 3 and you go back … the UI remain unchanged but the Status change!

I've created a solution to reproduce the behavior:

 It's a bug or I use it in a wrong way? 
(the docs are not so clear on how using this control by code)
