Syncfusion.DocIO.DLS.WordDocument hangs when opening file

The class 

Syncfusion.DocIO.DLS.WordDocument hangs and never returns when trying to open the attached file using the code:


using (var wordDocument = new Syncfusion.DocIO.DLS.WordDocument(file))
                {
                }


Per my last bug report, this is not very reassuring behavior of the code.  Code should never hang in an infinite loop like this.  :(
