How can I format Grid Percent Column value to "n.nnn"

I am trying to format Grid Percent Column value to "n.nnn" with below column definition I am able to restrict digits after decimal point but cell allows more than 9.999. I would like to know how can I achieve this.

<syncfusion:GridPercentColumn HeaderText = "Percent Column" AllowEditing = "True" AllowFocus = ""True" ValueBinding = "{Binding PercentColumn, UpdateSourceTrigger=PropertyChanged}" PercentDecimalDigits = "3"/>
