DropDownList Popup Closes with Delay When Selecting Value with Async Operation in valueChange Event

 The DropDownList popup closes with a noticeable delay when a value is selected and an asynchronous operation is performed within the valueChange event.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Run the sample:
  2. Open the popup
  3. Select any item
  4. You can see the issue
