Provide support to export data as markdown in the Block Editor

Expose a public API method that converts the Block Editor’s current document into a clean Markdown string. The method supports common block types (headings, paragraphs, lists, code blocks, images, quotes, tables, inline formatting), preserves structure and nesting, escapes special characters, and produces deterministic output.

Requirements:

  • Public API: Provide a documented method to return a Markdown string from the editor state or block data.
  • Block coverage: Support headings, paragraphs, inline marks, lists (nested), quotes, code (inline/block), images, tables, dividers.
  • Fidelity: Preserve structure, nesting, and inline formatting; escape Markdown-reserved characters.
