Customizable persistence options for DataGrid

Hi,

I'd like to suggest a feature regarding persistence in the DataGrid. It would be really helpful if we could programmatically choose which parts of the grid state should be saved and restored.

For example, in my case, I'd like to persist the column order, but I don't want to persist the current page number.

Is there currently any way to achieve this? If not, would it be possible to consider adding this feature?
