When using TreeGrid with the autoCheckHierarchy property enabled and binding a large dataset (approximately 300,000 records), we observed significant performance delays during parent row expansion. This issue stems from the checkbox state propagation logic, which performs a deep recursive traversal of the entire hierarchy to evaluate and update child node states each time a parent is expanded. The overhead becomes especially noticeable in virtualized grids with multi-level structures, resulting in UI lag and slower interaction responsiveness.
