Option to resize pictures to save space

Currently there is the 

RichTextEditorImageSettings.MaxFileSize property which checks the Maximum file size. Also there is the With and Height Property.
But there is no way, as far as I see, to resize the image to a given dimension (e.g. providing 1024 should resize the bigger dimension of the image to 1024px before upload) when storing the image inside the HTML content with 

SaveFormat.Base64

.
