To improve performance with date format fields

We can load a million data with Pivot Table in few seconds. But, we have faced performance lag with the control while we setting date format to fields. For example, On loading 1 million rows, pivot table takes 12 to 15 seconds to render. But if we used date formatting it will takes more than 2 minutes.
